Lost momentum

for a couple of days my plan to begin selling my woolie wares as Hot off the Hook was put on hold. Another talented mum with great taste in titles had opened a store using the same name. A few tears were shed before l got the gumption to contact her. Not sure why l was so worried, it was fixed the next day. She will open her soon to be successful store under a new name. I will start to trade under the name l have spent almost a year building a reputation for.

This of course means l need to finalise a logo, built up finished stock, draw up a size chart and get started.
I want standard sizing for both knitted Fern & Fairie covers and my own Hot off the Hook crochet ones.

Life on the funny farm is wet, cold and noisy.
Sunday was a pea soup fog until after lunch. I took the mutts for a long bush walk, long overdue exercise for us all. It was very relaxing... walking through majestic gums, shrouded in mist. Bird calls echoing overhead. Occasional patches of bright sunlight, dew gleaming on leaves, orchids peeking through the leaf litter. I love where l live.

Pilates yesterday, had to bite my tongue and muffle my giggles. An exercise that requires you to stand very tall, the curly headed instructor told us to imagine we were being pulled up by our curly hair *snort* my hair and that of most of the class is straight... on our heads. Had to wait for Jock to come home to share my gutter humour.
I've been doing weekly classes for 9 months and can really notice the difference in my core strength. I rarely have a sore lower back now and have much better balance. I try to exercise at home, but as soon as l get down on the floor one of the kids jump on me.

Two more sleeps until a mums meet with some of the most beautiful women l know. I can hardly wait!
