My jumper is washed and being blocked. Waiting for it to dry so l can wear it. I'm really happy with the way its turned out. Something l can wear with a pair of jeans.
I had a surprise parcel of Monster Knits sock wool arrive yesterday. I was up late last night learning how to do Magic loop, toe up, two socks at a time.. I know its a tad ambitious for a beginner. I think l've worked out how to avoid a gap when l swap needles. Also worked out why l was making a hole instead of a stitch to increase. Now l need to get the kids in bed, make a cuppa and get started.
I asked the 'older' women at the gym if they could help me, they had never heard of magic loop! A few are keen for me to learn and then teach them.
I might ask the local neighbourhood house if they can run a knitting class. Be great to talk to other knitters.
