Winter has ended

and l hope my run of bad luck has ended with it. In the last 5 days l've had a parking ticket and flat tyre, found them both at the same time. The water pump break resulting in no water for a day.. not being able to wash properly after dealing with a toilet training child resulting in a nasty dose of food poisoning for me. Wind blowing the mulch of the garden again, and 10 roof sheets off the house. A blocked chimney filling the house with smoke.. *sigh*

I'm looking forward to flowers growing, chicks hatching and lots of knitting. The 100s of bulbs l planted last year are starting to flower. Its fun rediscovering where they were planted.
I have 3 broody chooks on a mass of eggs, the girls and l love watching chicks hatch. We have enough chooks, so once the chicks are old enough they are gifted to friends. I have a waiting list!

The lots of knitting. I have wool on the way for Ms Marigold, Green Gable and a Cropped Cardi.
Still plodding away at my socks, when they are done l have anther 3 skeins of sock wool to knit up. Might even brave some Jaywalkers.
