Monthly update..

l've been neglecting my blog.. again. I tend to track my knitting on Ravelry, and spend a lot of time browsing patterns, yarn and discussions.

Knitting, l have been doing a lot lately. A wonderful friend gave me a bag of yarn on a surprise trans-Tasman visit. I wanted to do something 'good' with it, not just fritter it away on random projects.
I have transformed Rowan denim into Tasha, l made 2 of these, the lighter blue shown and a darker shade.





Some very pretty Monster Knits Blackberry Ridge Bulky into an Unoriginal hat and a Cotton candy hat (scroll past the gratuitous semi nude to see the pattern ;))



Yarn Cafe Bamboo (store will reopen when the babymoon is over) is now a short version of a Feather and fan scarf.

I still have enough of the MK to make a little something warm and snuggly for me!

What are the plans for all these knitted goodies? Its a surprise...

Socks have been another project from gifted yarn. I have made myself 3 pair so far and have plans for more. I have invested in some sock knitting tools to make life easier. Sock blockers from the Knittery, they were my mothers day gift along with enough yarn to qualify for free shipping.
A needle keep l use constantly and need to buy a shorter version of. Oops make that have just bought..
I also found a foot rest that the lid comes off, perfect for storing all my WIPs.
I still have a lace blocking kit on my wish list.

The boring stuff. I havn't had any news about the lump that was removed from my scalp. Not that l went back to get any, the Dr wasn't available when l was able to go in to have the stitches removed. So l took them out myself.
