I quit

smoking that is. I gave up on the 30th June 1997, cold turkey, none of these fancy patches or gum. Just determination and HUGE mood swings. A belated apology to anyone that was subjected to my Jekyll and Hyde demeanor during that first few weeks.
I honestly didn't think l'd last as a non smoker for more than a year.
I must remember to celebrate this milestone properly, its a hell of an acheivment.

My old brand is now $15 for pack of 40, l had a 40 a day habit.. thats $105 a week, a tad under $5500 a year. I used to put my smoking money in a jar and spend it on things l'd always wanted. Motorbike, cutom made leathers... the usual stuff on a girls wish list.

How things have changed, my wish list now has curtains, new computer desk and shockers for the car. Bit boring really.
